It is possible to get data from Excel sheets. The graphs created by the software tool can be interactively edited. The graphs thus created can be saved as bitmap images for easy use on documents.

Editing of data that is a major feature of the tool, also cannot be used properly by a novice. Thus this software requires quite a bit of expertise in the domain area. But, once you are aware of the meaning of the plots and what the changes signify, the interface is easy enough to use. There is an extensive set of controls that are available on the interface. Specifications of the representations you want is done quite easily too.
